Kususa releases a podcast with Liberation Events (Rotterdam)
Liberation was born from the love of House Music with African influence in 2012. The lack of events in the nightlife manifested in realizing a unique event where the focus is on the non-commercial side of music.
In 5 years Liberation established a strong national and international brand that is responsible for the growth of the african house music scene. By being an early adaptor for new and creative sounds, it has been an influence for upcoming DJ’s to implement this kind of music in their style.
Liberation events has hosted a handful of known and world renowned House Music artist over the years such as Black Coffee, Osunlade, Rocco, Manoo, Boddhi Satva, Mi Casa, Zakes Bantwini, Culoe De Song, Djeff Afrozila, Hyenah, Shimza, Omar, Soulroots to name a few. They have hosted events in a handful of venues in and around Rotterdam and twice at the annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) already.
Liberation comes upfront with a new series called #LiberationSessions and to kick off the series they invited Kususa from Durban (South Africa). This dynamic duo created their own authentic sound, which manifested in many succesful releases and a solid place in Black Coffee’s playlists. It’s only a matter of time before the Kususa sound will cover the globe and warm many more hearts.
