Afrikan Tales is a record Label by Floyd Lavine that embodies telling unique African stories. He goes on to say, “I wanted the label to be a home for future thinking African & Diaspora artists to express themselves beyond the conventional, that is my ethos.” On the 21st of September 2022 the label was invited to do a showcase at the renowned HÖR in Berlin.

Afrikan Tales was represented by Floyd Lavine himself as well as the prominent Desiree as the guest DJ. Floyd’s set can be described as eclectic, which he himself refers to as afro- futurism.
