South African Mpho Gift Mohlong, known as Mpho.Wav was Introduced to music at 14 in church, he mastered drums and piano, laying the foundation for his musical journey. Rising through bands during high school, he evolved into a sought-after session musician, collaborating with icons like Lebo Sekgobela and Ray Phiri. Transitioning into music production, Mpho.Wav’s talent caught the eye of Sun-EL Musician in 2020, leading to his entry into EL World Music (Newly entitled Africa To The World Agency) and subsequent EP “In The Den.” In 2022, he ventured into solo releases with “Moya,” featuring Brenden Praise, captivating audiences as an independent artist. 2023 marked a prolific year with numerous tracks and collaborations, showcasing his versatility alongside industry luminaries like Sun-EL Musician, Zakes Bantwini, and Shimza.

This album starts its’ rollout on 13th Sept 2024 and is fully released on Sept 27th, promises an impactful blend of musical prowess and diverse influences in the Afro-house, and Threestep spaces featuring vocalists from across the continent with vocal contributions from South Sudan, Kenya, and South Africa such as Kekelingo, Nobuhle and Atmos Blaq and producer contributions from Sun-El Musician and Da Capo.
