Blanka Mazimela dropped his Moblack debut EP last week. The EP consist of 3 tracks with meaningful vocals and crisp electronic techniques. “Thula”, the first song, establishes the mood. It highlights Khonaye’s evocative poetry with bouncy rhythms, delicate melodies, and light undulations before concluding with an alluring dance beat.

“Thula”, is then followed by a song with Sobantwna, her vocal energy drives the music as it saunters deep into a kaleidoscope of incisive cadences, intrepid riffs, and cosmic reflection. The last song of the Thula EP finishes with an exciting revelation. By merging vulnerability with permeating sound patterns, visceral percussion, and throbbing progressions, the dance piece “Pray for Me” functions as both a point of connection and a redemptive procession.
