How do you stay inspired and motivated in such a dynamic and competitive industry?

I think by inspiring other people and trying to help others is what keeps me motivated. I try to stay in my own bubble and steer away from social media. Constantly updating my music knowledge and getting in touch with new sounds all the time is really something that keeps me motivated. 

What has been your most memorable performance to date, and what made it stand out?

Wolfkop 2022 Lilo river set, this was a huge pinnacle in the start of my career, the energy of the people and how well it was received. 

Can you share a defining moment in your career that shaped the direction of your music?

Before I used to DJ I was a restaurant manager for many years. I used to curate music for these spaces and that’s where you learn to read people, moods and  an understanding for what people want. I think being a dancer and a dancer of house music and seeing and being part of the scene growing up, In the beginning is what shaped it. I started playing reggae before anything and then it went to disco then deep house and now it’s all between DISCO / DEEP HOUSE AND TECH HOUSE,but always staying true to authentic house music 

How do you balance staying true to your unique sound while also adapting to trends in the music scene?

You try to find music that has elements of the latest trends but never try to follow the sheep. My sound is what sets me apart from the rest of the scene as i feel everyone is doing a lot of the same sounds now. I love afro and have been playing it since the beginning but more afro house and less afro tech. Soon ill be making the music which will be even more unique 

What advice would you give to aspiring female DJs looking to break into the industry?

DON’T STOP! put in the hard work, hang out in the right rooms, and always show up correct. be prepared and be specific about what it is you want to achieve and work on that every single day. Don’t be afraid to dream big!
